Designed in 1853 by Pierre-François-Pascal Guerlain for the Empress Eugénie, wife of Napoléon III, Idylle Eau de Parfum from Guerlain is a combination of the sensuality and intimacy of white musk with a bouquet of flowers, the symbol of a declaration of love. A delicate mist of lily-of-the-valley, peony, freesia and white lilac is wrapped with a blend of jasmine and Bulgarian rose and sensual base notes of patchouli and white musk.
