Hermès perfumer Christine Nagel created Eau de rhubarbe ecarlate in 2016. An unexpected interpretation of the Hermès Cologne, it revisits the surprising freshness of a herbaceous plant: rhubarb.

OLFACTORY NOTES

A fruity citrus fragrance, Eau de rhubarbe ecarlate Cologne expresses the freshness of crisp rhubarb and tangy lantana, mingled with elegant musk notes.

THE OBJECT

The iconic lantern bottle is adorned with a scarlet hue. On the orange box, a vividly contrasting band recalls the color of the bottle.

With Eau de rhubarbe écarlate, Christine Nagel created her first cologne for Hermès. Unprecedented and bold, more vegetal than citrus, it gives us the crisp, acidic freshness of rhubarb made velvet-smooth with white musks.
